Opinions please
 

Hello all,

Long time boater here (in order: maxum, donzi, stingray, bryant, sylvan...yea, i've been all over the place) and now considering a 1999 Mariah 212 Shabah. I am not familiar with the brand other than the history learned online today. I have seen them at the docks occasionally and they were well appointed to say the least. Anyway, I am awaiting info from the owner before taking a look this weekend would appreciate any input you will offer. Anything specific to look for?

1999 212 Shabah, 5.7 EFI, Alpha 1, captains call, single axle trailer w/spare, looks great in the photos-he's asking 8500 and I am very interested!

If the condition is good and the color suites you it sounds like a good buy. I would not hesitate since most anything that might need some attention can still be found. Sounds like a pretty heavy boat for single axle trailer to me though.
