Re powering my z212
 

I need to put a motor in my Z212 it was blown up when I bout it. Just wondering what kinda gps top speed u guy are hitting with what motor. 5.0 5.7 6.2 vortec or non vortec. Thanks

I have a 2001 212 Limited with a 5.7 350 MAG Alpha 1 Mercruiser with a 23Pitch High Five Stainless steel prop, and I get 60MPH @ WOP . That is however before I added the wakeboard tower and the speakers and Bimini top. I now get between 56 & 58MPH @ WOP with 21 Pitch Stainless steel prop with 4 people in the boat & 2 coolers, depending on how choppy the ocean is that day LOL.. I also have a 19 pitch SS Prop that I use when wakeboarding for slower speeds and higher RPM's.. Hope this helps you. PS.
