merc 4.3LX 1993 More Power
 

I am replacing or rebuilding the 4.3LX 1993 Mcrsr engine.
I have found rebuilt engines for between $1,500 and $1,900 plus shipping. one place is out of Florida and the other out of Washington State.
Does anyone know if these engines are any good and if the parts they use are good. They are very tempting.

The two rebuilders are rapidomarine.com (Florida) and usenginesinc.com (Washington)

Rapido has pictures of their parts but I know nothing of these brands.

I looked at both of those companies and couldn't commit to them, I went with Jasper, good warranty, two weekends, so far so good.
