Over temp sensors/alarms
 

I have been searching for a specification that lists at what temperature the engine alarm and engine safety shut off is supposed to activate on a 1995 7.4 carb equipped motor and for a fuel injected engine also. I have searched high an low in the manuals and haven' had that spec listed.There is another member named easynine that says he is having a vapor lock problem, but he also said his engine temp at cruise is approaching 225 Deg which is I know is way too HOT. I told him I think he has a general cooling issue, not necessarily a vapor lock issue.
