Help on engine hunt....
 

Well, after the great winter sleep. I discovered that my water pump failed and hence wasted all of my winterizing efforts down the drain (hmm punn?)..
So with cracked manifolds, probably block etc (blew the plugs marine is checking into it).... I'm now shopping for either for a rebuilt or new short or long block..
Obviously, if any one has had experience in either dealing with a quality source plz let me know...Another option I was thinking of was building one....

Dang, sorry to hear that. You might look at the Jasper motors. I don't personally know anyone that has used one but their prices are definitely appealing.

I bought a 2010 454 last year from Michigan Motorz.They were real good to deal with and I think I got a pretty fair deal for what I bought.
