Winterizing a non running 7.4...

I had an off season and now I'm looking to winterize and I can't get the boat started.....I did drain the block and I'm thinking to blow out the lines and or pump anti-freeze through....Any recommendations on winterizing a non running engine?

You didn't mention if it was a fresh water or sea water cooled engine. I'll assume it is sea water cooled.

Best bet is to completely drain the block by removing the drain bolts on each side of the engine and each exhaust manifold. Use a stiff wire to poke any rust or silt out of the way so the block will drain. Remove both hoses from the sea water pump and the fuel cooler and lower the hoses so they drain completely. Remove both sides of the large hose attached to the circulator pump on the engine and drain. Remove the two bolts from the thermostat housing, pull the housing up and out of the way (no need to disconnect the hoses) and backfill the engine with antifreeze.

Remove each spark plug and spray fogging oil into each cylinder. Turn the engine over a few times without starting using either the starter or a wrench on the front bolt.

That should do it.
