Hole Shot Getting Worse
Hello everyone. I'm gonna get to the point. I have a 1994 Davanti Z241. I have owned it for about 5 years now. I have noticed a problem for the last 2 years but it has not been severe enough to cause me any real issues. I'm very sluggish getting on plane. The more weight I add the worse it gets. First it was when I had 6 people in the craft, then 5 now 4. Generally its just me and my wife and I dont have any issues. This is what is happening. When I get on the throttle hard its like I stop at 50% There is no throttle responce between 50% and full just while getting on plane after I have planed out I can go full and get moving. I noticed this weekend that i'm only turning 4200 rpm. I believe I had normally turned about 4800. I'm a little mechanically inclined. It feels like a carb problem, better yet like i'm only getting half the fuel. I'm pretty sure its a quadrajet carb. I know these things can be a little trickey. Does anyone have any insight on this or has experienced this problem. FYI I have never changed props and am using the recommended props for the bravo 3,
