305 to 350 swap question
 

I have a 2003 Mariah sx20. I bought the boat with a cracked block and decided to put a 350 in it. I put non vortec heads on it so I went out and bought a performer intake manifold.

The question I have is on my old motor I had a copper pipe that went from the top of the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold. The performer intake doesn't have a spot for this.

Do I need this peice or can i block it off?
