slipping?
 

Took my talari 200 out yesterday and when coming out of the water on his wake board it seem to slip. Made a loud pop noise. Seems also to do that when you first put in gear. Anyone have any ideas what this may be? I have a 5.7 merc. thanks!

could a bad u-joint make a loud clunk sound on take off? Just had all boots and gimble bearing replaced. Really doesnt seem like a slip seems to have good take off power. Any advice at all?

Is it when you put it in gear or after it's in gear and under a heavy load?

it seems to be after it is in gear. But once it clunks and does not keep making that noies.
