Indy's right...I need a new one...it will warm up a bit when I pour the coals to it!

Mine runs exactly at 150 degrees, at least that's what the boat thermometer says... has for 5 years.

I checked mine again on the weekend and it runs at 150.

Actually I studied mine again on the weekend, at it runs fairly consistently at about 160. I meant to ask my "guy" at the marine place about it, but I got talking about other things...

Re: What water temp does your engine run at?

Mine runs at about 110ish. I replaced the thermostat and the temperature sending unit and its still around 110. I verified that the gage is functioning by grounding the lead to it. I verified that the temperature is accurate with an ir gun. I'm not sure what to try next other than trying another new thermostat.
