gas tank size
 

Does anyone know what size gas tank i have? I have a 1997 Maria Shabah Z222 with a 454. My fuel gauge fluctuates so much i cant tell.

According to the factory brochure, it's 49 gallons or 223 litres.

300sflyer is right, 49 gallons. However I can only get in about 35 gallons into the tank if i'm in the water gasing up. The angle of the tank when she's afloat doesn't allow any more than that. On land, on the trailer, it will hold 49 gallons. If i fill it right up on land, i get fuel spilling out the vent hose when I launch back into the water, so try not to over fill it on land.

Not to be rude but 49U.S gallons doesn't equal 223litres.....There is 3.78l per gallon..... 49 x 3.78= 185.22 litres.

It does matter to us Canadians where the fel pumps are in litres....

^ he was likely thinking Imperial, where there are 4.54 litres to the gallon. :)

Either way, for us it's gonna be close to a couple of century notes to fill from empty... :D
