New Manifolds, Risers increased temp

1996 24' Jubilee 5.7 LX B-3. (322 hrs) Replaced Manifolds riser and impleller, I used GLM products and have found an increase in engine temperature by around 8 degrease. I have a 160 deg. thermastat that was unchanged and am a little concerned, it ran fine up to 4200 rpm with never going above around 170.
I don't think this is going to damage my engine but just wondering if anyone has come across this from either an impeller or manifold/riser change. I switched from Mercruiser Manifolds and risers to GLM if that matters.

Thank you,

Semper Fi

As long as your not getting over 180*F I don't think I would worry about it much. I noticed after installing GLM two piece manifolds on my 4.3LX that my temperature rises quicker but stays right around 175*F. Just keep an eye on your temp and shut her down if it gets too high.
