Performance questions

New here
New to Mariah boats.
I have a 1991 2200zc with a 5.7 merc.
Been great for the first few months, cruised at 3000rpm and about 76km/h, but after one ride,
I started to lose power. I had some pinging that only lasted a few seconds. And then went away.
In the span of 8kms I lost 30km/h in speed and can’t seem to get up to 3000rpm and more. Max is 28-2900.
Had it out a few times since, same thing, full throttle is 28-2900rpm and 50kms per hour hour.
Engine runs smooth, idles smooth, accelerated fine, but this is my new top speed.
I also noticed while changing my starter today that I have a small hairline crack in my ?exhaust manifold?cooling jacket? But other than everything seems fine.
Outdrive is a bravo 1

Check the prop hub. Sounds like it may be slipping / failing.

Took her out for another ride, blew the motor... so I’m guessing that was the problem.
