Outdrive settling

I have a 2001 shabah 182 with a 4.3 mercruiser the outdrive is Alfa1 Gen2 I believe.
Noticed the other day a little drop of oil under the fin that was touching the ground, I store it with the drive down but about an inch off the floor.
Did some looking and seems to be seeping from around the bolts that are about 10" up from the bottom, I assume this is a disassemble point?
All the fittings for the Rams that raise the drive are dry.
I guess I have 2 problems, the leaking and the drive lowering to the floor on its own in a day or so.
Sorry for the rambling I'll try to get some pics tomorrow

Re: Outdrive settling

Your leak might be at the tilt/trim pump as well.

O/K must have been seeing things, l had the outdrive sitting an inch off the ground now for a week and no settling.
Here's a couple of photos of my other problem. I had the water pump replaced last year, would this be were the drive was taken apart to install? There is only oil below were the bolts are.

Looks like they did a poor job. If oil leaks from those bolts you are losing drive lube. You will need to drain it, take it apart and replace the gasket or o-Ring. Not certain exactly what you need without knowing the drive model and serial number. If you can find this info go to https://public-mercurymarine.sysonli...=englangDB=eng and you can find a complete parts list.
