Quiet buzzer
 

anyone know why i'm experiencing a quite buzzer?

no real issues with starting etc.
could it be a bad earth? I have a 182 so if anyone can give me a heads up as to what i should be looking for id appreciate that.
my concern is if the alarm would sound whilst going fast i would have no chance of hearing it!

I can't really answer your question. But if I were you, I would take it out and connect it directly to a battery. If it's loud, then the wiring is at fault. If it's not loud enough, then you probably need a new one.

wish i knew how to take it out..... getting to items around the boat console on a 182 is definitely not easy with my fat hands anyway!
