3 blade prop or 4 blade?

I have heard good things about four bladed props online. For my bravo 3 does anybody else recommend them?

What are you asking the prop to do for your boat? Are you looking for a little more on the top end? Three blade for sure, or do you need more grunt to get on plane faster pulling a couple of tubes? Deff go with a four blade. A set of smart tabs also help for getting on plane faster. My 212 W/ 5.7 mag , SS 3 blade and smart tabs " pops" right out of the water. Just my 2 cents

In researching this topic for my B3, I've been told the beat combination is a 4x3, which is a 4-blade front prop and a 3-blade rear prop. I've been told the top-end performance is about the same, but the hole-shot is much better. I have not tried it yet.

3 Blade or 4 Blade Prop: somewhere on your prop will have a list of numbers as in: 9511-145-19. This indicates it’s a 14X19 prop (Speed). If wanting to bring the bow down faster find a 14X17 prop (Power( as I will have too))). Hope that helps
