Spot Light
 

I have a 1990 XL2000 and was hoping to find either a new spotlight or even parts to refurbish what was left of the one I have. Oh yea it's a powered popup spot light, if anyone as any leads that may help, I would apprecate any help.

I could be wrong about this but it was my understanding that the pop-up spot light that came with the first year or two of Mariah production was made in-house so the only option will be to find a 1990-1991 that's being scrapped with a working light assembly or check out the online marine supply shops for something similar.

I see a photo of that assembly in our Gallery here but i've honestly never seen one out in the wild....

Well that is the one in the link you posted. This will be interesting, I have most of the parts I guess I will try to McGuyver it back into working condition, otherwise I may just end up covering the hole where it used to be. In the mean while i'll keep an eye open for someone scrapping one with a spot light, but i'm going to guess that may take forever.

What was the rational for something like that? Neat feature but useful? Was it the precursor to docking lights?
