i need a trim guage for a 1990 xlc. can anyone help me?

Is your trim gauge missing or just not functioning? If its simply not working then the problem is more likely with the trim sensor/sending unit located on your outdrive. Here's a link on how to try and adjust it but generally once they fail they're done & replacement is required. The problem with that is that you have to remove the outdrive.....

If the gauge is missing or broken you can likely find a replacement on eBay or at Great Lakes Skipper.

thanks for the info. the needle is bouncing back and forth in the guage. do you think this is the sensor or guage.

Very likely the sensor/sender unit. The good thing is though that you might be able to adjust it since it doesn't sound like it has completely failed & may just require cleaning. Follow the instructions in the link i sent earlier to the "T". And when you are done, remove the connections from the back of the gauge one at a time, clean them & then re-attach. Or take a photo so that you know which terminals the wires connect to.

i just bought this boat and it a great boat with a few issues that i am having fixed tonight. does anyone have a mariah with the hyd. lift cylinders for the engine lid? if so what switch was use to raise and lower. mine has been long since disconnected. oh by the way i have a 1990 xlc for sale with 3000 worth of new parts and acc. for sale. 6000 obo
