Mariah Factory OEM Fit Replacement Canvas and Covers
 

Good afternoon.

The forum moderator, Chris (ShabahZ250), has suggested we introduce ourselves and post a summary of the factory OEM canvas we have for Mariah.

Our team made all of the original OEM canvas and still have the original factory OEM patterns for many boats, including the 2002+ (by Sea Fox) Mariah: Mariah® Boats | Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) Canvas and Covers and can produce a new factory-fit canvas or cover for you.

The older canvas is harder to find, so we just have to look for it when we get a request.

Much of the 2002 canvas will fit older models of the same/equivalent hull as few changes were made from 1999-2001 and during the first two years when Sea Fox took over.

Since we have the original OEM patterns, we make new factory OE canvas in any color (we make these to order for you, this is not New-Old Stock) using:

• original Sunbrella® 9.5oz solution dyed acrylic marine fabric, or
• Weblon® vinyl laminated polyester (slicker and more waterproof, but does not breath)

We can do this more cost effectively than a custom canvas shop, who must measure the canvas, make a pattern and will also charge local sales tax. Local canvas cost on a bimini top canvas (with zippers for the front, side and aft curtains) will be $13-$18 per square foot. A typical bimini top canvas might be 5' x 8' = 40 square feet, which amounts to $350 to $720 plus local sales tax (RNR-Marine™ doesn't collect sales tax for mail order) = $380 to $800 total at the local custom canvas shop - and the factory Original-Equipment front spray-shield (visor), side curtains and aft curtains won't fit properly.

By comparison, RNR-Marine's factory OEM replacement bimini top canvas (with zippers for the Original front Visor, Side and Aft Curtinas) is just $479 plus $23 shipping and NO sales tax (except for SC buyers).
