Hello all !!!
Now that were all on the subject of side vents...........:crying_animated::crying_animated: Im looking
for starboard side glass for my 1997 z242 Shaba . If anyone knows where some are I will totally appreciate
the lead. Thank-you all for your help !!!

If its just the side glass you might be able to have it made up at a local glass shop. They should be able to source similar glass ( i believe its tempered) & cut it based on a template.... which is something you might have to make up.

While you're thinking about it though...have a look thru our Mariah Parts & Collectibles for Sale. There are a couple of members there with glass for sale.

Did you have a look at Mariahmike's ad for glass? It might be worth sending him a PM and checking the measurements of what he has. It may fit.

Other alternatives are Marine Glass Specialties in Odessa, Florida and Ocean Dynamics out of Miami. Both can make up the frames & glass but you might have to open your wallet a bit.

Did you check with Taylormade?

Other than the above, you really dont have many options & chances of finding the exact glass & framework off another Z242 are really slim.

I appreciate the direction to help end this search. I understand this is a rare watercraft and it deserves OEM parts. I own a custom shop and can fabricate anything I really want if thats where it goes. At this time I want to keep it original as possible . My search continues.........:wink_thumbup:
