Re: Wanted - Mariah z302
I have a 99 z 302 I am regretfully getting ready to list for sale here in Kansas. It is probably one of the nicest around. Has only 98 hours on boat and engine (meaning everything is original). I bought it with only 57 hours on it from the original owner a couple years ago but am now in a place where I need to sell the boat due to family changing. I just ran across this post so thought i would respond. I am selling this for $29,999 wich I believe is a deal looking at other z302 and there hours. It is the only z302 I have ever seen with a Volvo 8.2 liter 502ci and DP lower unit. Originial owner said he bought new and spec that way. [email protected] is e mail

Re: Wanted - Mariah z302
Keep in mind what these other 302's are listed at is just that... List price. I know of a few that have sold for a much different price. I was speaking with an owner a few weeks ago here on my local lake. He paid 16,500 for his. As with any boat though condition can make a wide margin in price.

The 302's are BIG boats. Unless you have a need for a boat that large (large family or large body of water to use it on) they really arent that great of boat to "play" with. So if you buy and move one of them to an area that is limited to it's uses, values can and do drop. Here in Portland, we have both the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. Both quite large. Nothing like those that live in Seattle area with the Puget Sound, but the last 302 I say sold up here went in the high 30's, loaded with 500+ hours. I bought mine in Los Angeles last fall for under 20k. It wasnt perfect. Ive fixed 99% of it and Ive upgraded more then a few things. Im still well under 25k and have another 5-7k to spend to make it like I want it. If they are kept in tip top shape and are located in a area that has a demand for BIG boats they are an easy sell. |
Re: Wanted - Mariah z302
I boat on Lake Lanier in Atlanta GA. Honestly a 302 can be considered small on this lake. There are quite a few Cigarettes, MTI's, Outer Limits, Fountains, etc well into the high 30'+ and 40'+ lengths on this lake.
