speedomiter repair and number keypad
 

I have a faria speedo that needs to be repaired they are saying 5 to 6 weeks I was wondering if anyone has had theirs done recently and how long did it actually take. also I have a number keypad for starting the engine, there is also a key switch can anyone tell me what if anything does the key do. Is it even needed, as I never got a key for it

Did you ever get an answer ?

I too have the quicksilver key pad to start the boat, but I didnt get the combo to use it.

No I never recieved any reply I have posted a few things that didnt get a reply Maybe I am doing it wrong or no one has the answer to my questions
There is a manual for the keyless switch in the manual section which might help If I remember correctly the code can be changed or reset so you can put your own code in

Just so you know; your question threads are fine, Bill. It also looks like you've posted some helpful answers for others. It just looks like nobody has had any info for the couple of your questions that have gone unanswered.
