Parts need for z222

Just bought a z222 1999. looking for the assembly to raise the hatch.

Also does anyone have an idea where to purchase snap covers for the cockpit and bow?

Thanks...

I will assume yours has the electric lift assembly. The following info is taken from another post on our site:

I just tracked down the Manufacturer of the electric engine hatch lift assembly used on the Z302. I'm not sure what other models it was used on. Currently they have just a few left in inventory and have no future plans to produce more. My boat had the brackets and wiring but no actuator. Price quoted was $214.29 + shipping. They will not sell direct but will funnel you to the local distributor in your area.

As or the bow & cockpit covers, you wont find them already made for your boat. Your best bet is to find a marine upholstery or marine canvas vendor in your area and have them custom made. That way you will get a perfect fit & at this time of year, the cost should be reasonable.

We are having issues with a 1999 z222 regarding gauges. Tach varies, speedometer doesn't work. compass spins of of control and clock doesn's work. They are all Fariah brand.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Thanks

Hi Donna,

Try this link and hopefully they'll have something you can use for a replacement horn cover.

Hi DONNA,

Did you find a suitable horn cover from the link I provided?

As for your tach, sounds like you might have some corrosion with the selector dial. Use the " Search " feature on the forum and you'll find several suggestions on how to resolve your issue. The same goes for your speedometer, sounds like your air line or outdrive is plugged up. Solutions and pictures have been posted as well.

The compass may need to be sent back to Faria, the same maybe be true of your other gauges as well. If so, they are covered with a lifetime warranty, Click here for Faria's contact information.

Good luck,
WetWilly
