Mariah boat black stereo panel, part #12591 on eBay
Well it looks like I found a part I need for the old Talari on eBay so hopefully no one will get into a bidding war with me. The original was a little cracked so I thought I would take it apart and fix it up, well now it's really busted...
Here's the part, a radio bezel: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Maria...em260210187454

It doesnt fit mine anyway.....mine's the short version..
That's a part i'm looking for too. Someone prior to me made one from a piece of wood & covered it with black leatherette. It works but looks kinda questionnable.

mikeyt, seems like your wood setup might be a little more durable than the plastic! If the finish bothers you, send me a PM and I'll send you a link to a place that's doing some repair and refinishing work for me currently... (top secret project that will be posted later)

Some customers of mine do custom interior work for cars/trucks, but I dont know if they would match a marine application.
The next time he comes in to pickup his parts I could ask him, or if you want email them directly.

Thanks ShabahZ250!
I was getting a little concerned as I had lost a previous panel to one of the same bidders. I was determined to get this one so near the end, I threw down one heck of a proxy bid.
Now I'm going back to look into the Console Reinforcement pieces that Randy developed to brace this area!
I am also going to see if I can get the fine printing on the panel duplicated in vinyl so in the future I can use a thick piece of black plexi or metal and still have the print to give it the factory look. Perhaps you may be able to help me here?
Thanks again,
WetWilly

Thanks, ShabahZ250,
It's all the "Warning" and "Temperature" printing, but I think I'll need to send you the actual panel to get the sizing correct.

What do you think?

I'll see what I can do, when you get the panel, send me the text info and possibly a higher res pic if you can. If you want to send the panel to me, we can do it that way, or you can just send me a few measurements. Keep me updated!

I think it would be easier for you to have the panel in hand, the "Warning" printing is a little blurred, the silkscreen probably moved a little during printing.
I'll let you know when I send it out to you, it'll be later this week.
Thanks,
WetWilly
