Hello all,

I work for a large boat dealer in the mid west and I just took a very clean Mariah trade. I figured this would be the best place to start. It's a 1999 Z280. This boat is in excellent condition as we just trade checked the boat and it's turn key. A compression test was done and the engine passed with flying colors. This boat also features the following items done or upgraded by the previous owner. It's equipped with a new interior, newer camper canvas, flat screen TV and many more upgrades. Please don't hesitate to reply with any questions. I have more pics and will attach a few for now. Hours are thought to be around 350. Powered by a 7.4L MPI with a Bravo 3 drive. I'd also like to add, this boat was owned previously by one of our members, "Z280Bob". If you have any specific questions you can feel free to drop him a line. I spoke with him, he only owned the boat for a short time, and did some pretty substantial upgrades and service items. He's very confident this will make a great boat for the next owner.

It's a steal at that price. I actually had seriously considered this as my next boat...

Hello all, Just a quick update with this 99' Mariah Z280. We will be holding a huge sale and auction The weekend of Jan 15th and this boat will be up for auction. This is the same weekend as the McCormick boat show ( we will not be attending this year). Like the boat show in Chicago, this sale is being supported by the factories on new product. As a dealer we are applying much of the expense of going to the Chicago show to lower our cost on the used inventory. The Auction itself will be on Saturday Morning at 11:00. The auction boats will be viewable for inspection the week prior or after 9:00 the morning of. As of right now their are approx 20 boats going up for auction. There will be reserve prices for most of the boats, however there will still be some great deals. I will say this, This Z280 will have a "Buy it now price" before the auction of $17,700. + tax and title. This price includes us stating the engine for the potential buyer and re-winterizing it prior to delivery. These price are otherwise as is. There are no trades or warranties. Possession will take place here at the store or a fee can be paid to have any boat moved to a desired location. Storage can be arranged for a small fee for the remainder of the winter. I agree, that is an ABSOLUTE STEAL at that price, and I really wish I hadn't decided to remodel my kitchen, otherwise she would have been mine.

At any rate, this thing should sell like a hotcake at that price, and if you wouldn't mind Terry, spread the word about the Mariah Owners Club to the next owner. We're like a big family and here to help each other out.

I'd also be interested to see what the final auction price was to see what i missed out on.
