I wonder what makes it "Extremely Rare"? Looks like any other red Z252 bowrider, except for there's no Mariah script logo on the side, and the price tag is about $15k more than the rest of the Z252's out there...

It is a beautiful boat! Chris, Isn’t it obvious? What makes it a “Extremely rare Mariah” is the fact that it has a combo radio/ miniature basketball hoop antenna for added versatility!

you guys are killin me here.

I was hoping that there was something truly special about the 252 so I can offload mine for a healthy profit at 36K then upgrade to a Mariah cruiser.

Kinda surprised to see that it didn't have popup cleats though.

Am I correct that the "Z" models have all the power options and the Shabah model is the lower end? When I bought mine they said it was a Z252 Shabah but there is no power engine hatch, antenna, wiper nothing like that.

Shabah is just the model. They can be Z or non-Z optioned. The Z models just have all the bells and whistles.

Z Models could be custom ordered with or without certain options. Mariah worked with the buyer ordering it to create their perfect boat. Mine's a Limited Edition Z250, but didn't have all the options added like shorepower, trim tabs, silent choice exhaust, tv or microwave. It was all up to the buyer.

Is there a way to decipher the serial number to determine if it was sold as a "Z" model?

Or any other sure fire way to tell? I have quite a few nice options on it and I love the boat but for resale purposes it would be nice to know.

    Thanks
