1999 Mariah Z212 Shabah

With this site being an "owner's club" for people that already have Mariahs, I'm not expecting to see much action from the "for sale" section. So maybe this is just a "feeler" to see what interest may be out there and see what you guys think of the price and/or chances selling would be... (to the mods - no need to "sticky" this just yet, I'm mostly looking for suggestions and possibility of selling)

Due to my family's needs and desires, I'm currently trying to find a mid-cabin/open bow Mariah (or yes, I'll admit, possibly another brand), but I'm discovering how difficult it is to find one and then be ready to jump on it right away with my current boat situation (a lot are for sale by owner, so no trade-in option). So I'm thinking of selling the old one first, then be prepared when the new one becomes available.

350 Mag 300hp w/Alpha One
460 hours
"Z" package with all the options
White and black
1999 Prestige custom trailer

I believe it has all options available except Silent Choice. It currently needs the sunpad and rear bench seat reupholstered, possibly new u-joints (I'm getting a slight knocking noise at idle and turning, but the gimbal was just replaced 3 years ago), and the shift cable needs adjustment (sticks in reverse but I had the upper and lower cables replaced in the last 2 years - just no time and/or patience with the repair facilities in my area to adjust it).

I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $11,500. What do you guys think? I know the economy is terrible right now, and being winter for most of us doesn't help. So I'm trying to decide whether to make the repairs and keep it 'til spring, or not making the repairs and letting it go for lower $.

I haven't officially advertised it yet, just looking for suggestions and thoughts. I also have an '06 Corvette convertible I'm looking to sell - Orange/Tan and every available option, if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Yes, I still have it. But I must admit, I'm "in talks" with a dealer for a trade-in. Of course, I'd be much happier selling it outright as they aren't dealing much on the price of the new one. Do you have any questions I could answer? Send me a private message (by clicking on my ID) if you'd prefer. Thanks!
