Boat is back on CL for $7500, had a LOT of interest and hopefully we will see what comes of it. The girls are almost a year old and the boat hasn't moved ;)

I am kind of in a pinch. I have a '99 Z252 that I have owned for 5 years and 2 seasons ago the motor ingested water and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It had been in inside storage until this summer and I would put the overall boat condition as "good". It needs a wash and wax :)

I did not rebuild it yet because I just finished building a house.

I was planning on updating the faded dash panels (Julianos Hot Rods) and fixing the motor but I could really use the $$ right now.

It is rolling on a 2004 Venture 28' dual axle galvanized trailer with surge brakes.

It is a '99 Z252, 7.4L Bravo 3, Garmin GPSMAP 232, Blaupunkt CD, Polk speakers. Bow and cockpit covers, matching bimini, never used (that I can gather) porta potty. I have the rear sun deck off and was also planning on fixing a tear where the rear hinge is. The motor is torn down to just the block/oil hoses and all parts minus exhaust which went to the dump are there.

Does anyone think I could get $10k for it all? What about parting it out? Everything on this boat is original and you can't find it anymore, I would think that would make it worth some consideration. This thing really is at 95% perfect the problem is that 5% is the motor :(

Isn't the motor the most important ? how much would it be to rebuild ? and does it turn on?
