1998 Mariah 242 Shabah
 

Hi all!

This is my first post here and hopefully someone will be able to help out with some info on how to find the fair market value of a particular Mariah boat that’s up for sale. It’s a 1998 Mariah 242 Shabah bow rider. The engine model is a Merc 7.4L MPI BIII. Additional info I know is that it’s storage kept, was used on a lake and has been owned by the same owner since 1999. I am not sure how many hours are on the boat, but do know that the owner took great care of it. I have no clue about boats and my search has pulled up pricing between 8500-20k+. It's not like there are a lot of these boats on the market to compare it to. Right now is 'premium priced' selling season and prices will depend on location, history, condition, hours, engine, outdrive, trailer included, which model ('Z', non 'Z', 'LE' ) etc etc etc.
