Fair Asking Price for 1995 & 1997
 

Hello All,

I have a couple of questions regarding the value of 2 Mariah boats. I currently own a 1997 Talari 211 cuddy cabin and am thinking of purchasing a 1995 Z212 Shabah open bow. I am the 2nd owner of the boat and it has been meticulously taken care of and is in (in my opinion) great shape. Outside of a few blemishes in the striping there are no issues outside, inside or mechanically. The same goes for the 1995 Z212 Shabah. I know the owner of the 1995 and we are trying to come up with a fair deal for the 1995 so I would like to get a fair price for my boat when listed as well as offer a fair price for the other boat. Any assistance as to the values of both boats would be greatly appreciated. And if anyone is interested in the 1997 please let me know.

I'd say it completely depends on your geographic location. I know I had to go out of state to find a good boat at a good deal since prices in my area were a good 20%+ higher than just a state or two away. I would encourage you to shop your local market on craigslist, boattrader, etc, and it will become pretty obvious in a short while what a good price is in your area.

Thank you so much for your help. I kind of figured and I noticed that the prices were all over the map so I will keep searching and then take a mid range from all the sites as you mentioned. Thank you again for your help!:wink_thumbup:

Keep in mind that most people dont know what Mariahs are and they will try to low ball you...sometimes knowing what you have sucks but dont feel bad asking what you think its worth! Dont short sell something you took care of!
