Mariah boat in bad condition.

Hi there.
I have found a Mariah boat in Greece. She is in avery bad condition, the engine and all the upholstery is missing. The dealer told me that it was imported from the states. There is the decal shadow of her registration number on her but i cannot make out what it means. I am sure she had an accident as i saw a few cracks and heavy scratches in the stern right at the end of the V and also under keel.
The dealer says she is the 246 PC model however, the boat itself is a bow rider.
I was thinking to buy her and restore her but i looked up in the net and i could not find anywhere any similar boat to see how she looked originally.

If anyone can halp as to identify which model it is and where i can find pictures of her deck plus some specs, i would appreciate it.

Wow, that is in pretty awful shape. Even if the hull is given to you completely free, that'll be one hell of a restoration project, just letting you know in advance....

If you can, PM me the hull ID number and I can tell you exactly what model it is. I've got the factory build sheets and can provide you with the original info.

From looking at the pics, the registration marks read "CF" which means the boat was previously registered in California.

My main concern for you, with being overseas is that the vessel was originally in the USA, so it will not have any of the CE Declaration of Conformity documents that you'd need to register in your home country. Since Mariah went out of business in 2001, you can't get the original CE documents. You'll have to build your restoration to the CE specs, and have it privately inspected and certified to be in compliance with the CE regulations. This may be a HUGE hassle...

Hey Bill, welcome to MOC. You may want to post this in another section like Requests & Parts needed. You may get a better response there.
