Fuel tank is 125 gal. I don't think there is a capacity plate but rather a Yacht Certification which I believe means you can have as many people as you wish as long as you have enough safety equipment for each passenger but I'm not sure.

Welcome to the board pat454!

Yep, Hudson River Steve's right. 125 gallons, unless your tank has been replaced at some point. There should be a tag on the tank section that's visible in the back. Found out mine had been replaced in 2006 with a slightly smaller capacity tank...

There should be a metal yacht certification placard located near the throttle. "Yacht Certified" is given by the NMMA (National Marine Manufacturing Association) to boats above 26' that comply with all applicable ABYC (American Boat & Yacht Council) standards & regulations. Technically speaking, there is no max capacity, you just need life jackets or a PFD for all passengers, including children. The USCG only has the regulations in place for vessels under 26', but they can board you and ask to have all your passengers put their PFD on as part of their "random safety check". So just be on the safe side! On my Z280, The most people I ever carried onboard was 6, but I have PFD's for 10, just in case... Better safe than sorry!
