The Mariah Owners Club - Welcome Everybody!

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to everyone.

My name's Chris, I'm 28 years old, and live in Cincinnati Ohio. I'm a graphic designer in the healthcare field. Been boating on the Ohio River and the inland lakes since I was a kid. I come from a family generation of Ohio River boaters, my dad had a boat, his dad had one, etc. I bought my first boat at age 16, a 1991 Sea Ray 180 Bowrider, and kept it for 10 years until 2006, when I became the proud owner of a 2000 Mariah Shabah Z250. I bought it in 2006 from a dealer in Baltimore, MD after about 8 months of searching for just the right one. Drove up in the frigid 20 degree temps to do a sea trial in the Cheasapeke Bay with skim ice on the water. Packed it on the trailer, and drove 11 hrs back through snowstorms, 40mph mountain winds, and whatever Mother Nature could have thrown at us.

I initially had the concept to put together some sort of Mariah site for all of us a while ago, and after meeting MariahMan and putting our heads together, it's finally come to life. I'm the designer for the site, and Ryan (MariahMan) is the brains behind the whole technical aspect of it. Together we have put together what we think will eventually become the best online resource for Mariah Boat owners.
