Hello!

I just got a 2000, 244 Jubilee 5.7 deck boat. The previous owner did not take care of it much. I have taken it on as a bit of a project. The windshield and frame is damaged on the driver side, also I,m looking for the plexiglass lid to the head. Finding out this will be a challenge to find the correct parts. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Hello!

Try doing a quick search on here. I know that the door has came up in question a bunch of times - and I think someone recently mentioned a place that could make them. However, i'm not sure where that post was.

Windshield - good luck. Glass is near impossible and very expensive when it comes up. You would have better luck locating a complete windshield set than just a singular piece (although I do not know what the jubilee glass looks like - so I could be wrong).

This is a great place for advise, i'm sure some Jubilee owners will speak up shortly. Good luck

Nick

Re: Hello!

Ahhh, the monthly 'where can i find a windshield question'. :)

Nick: the glass in a Jubilee is much different than in our boats and is much less expensive to replace with aftermarket items.

Yes, doing a site search for 'Jubilee windshield' will reveal numerous threads on the subject. Have a look thru this thread and you should find some answers for the windscreen particularly in ttownmatt's post #11.

As for the door to the head that may be a little more difficult. One option explored in this thread was making his own out of hickory. The poster said it was easy & looked good.
You could also try to have your existing one repaired by a plastics/acrylic vendor such as the one mentioned in ttownmatt's post or even ask if they can make one to match.
