:jumping_tongue:Cool, I will be going down to the Ohio as soon as I get used to my boat and I talk my wife into going through the lock.

You should trailer it down to Marietta for the following events:

Robbie Knievel plans to jump the river from Ohio to WV in Marietta (I will post a date once it is set, but I imagine it will be around September):

The Marietta Sternwheel Festival is great - plus there are quite a few hotels that have large parking for boats/trailers. Not to mention lots of great places to eat, live music, fireworks! lots of fireworks!:

River Front Roar. This has been a huge event and well worth the drive if you like watching Tunnel boat racing. Although their website is under construction and doesn't look exciting it's a great event. There are vendors setup with cool gifts and foods, beer gardens, car show, and all the boats/crews are parked where you can meet them and see their equipment.

If you plan on heading this way for any of the events let me know! I'm native to the area (Newport, Ohio 45768), but I work up toward Pittsburgh regularly. I work with Noble Energy and go to their office in Cannonsburg a few times a month, plus my company has an office by Cabela's in Triadelphia WV. It sucks driving back home along the river and seeing all the boats out while i'm working lol.

Sounds great! There are plenty of places to stay and numerous boat ramps in the area. Happy Boating!
