gdan

I was just given a 1993 Mariah 19 with a Mercruiser 4.3LX V/6 engine. It is a beautiful boat that I intend to use as a tender for my larger boat.
I have never owned an I/O before now and need much help.
Does anyone out there have any advise except to shoot myself?

What kind of advice are you looking for? A 19' 'tender' for your larger boat?? Should i ask just how big that larger boat is?

It is only 48' but my small center console dinghy is getting harder for us old folks to get in and out of off the swimstep and beach so I decided to get an I/O.

The boat was basically given to me but has been parked for 10 years. I want to rebuild the 93 (4.3LX engine and also make sure that the manifolds and risers are ok. I have already sent the interior seats etc. for re-upholstry. Had the carb rebuilt and bought new starter and alternator.

I am planning to have the stern drive serviced soon to see what that needs.

Can I get an owners manual for this thing somehow?
