Possible new Mariah owner

Just found this website and am currently looking at a 1996 Mariah Z200 Shabah. The boat has less than 200 hours on it, but they are asking $8400 which is quite a bit above NADA rates. If anyone has any advice of what to look for I would apreciate it. Going to inspect the boat this weekend. :)

In my opinion Texas that isn't to bad of a price for that boat.
Does that include trailer?
But , you need to check her over good.
Things I look at are:
Hull- Fading , scrapes , abrasions , spyder webbing , glass(vent windows work?) , etc.
Interior- fading , tears , worn carpet , good flooring(no soft spots)very rare on a Mariah , etc.
Electrical- Instuments , trim gauge work properly(biggie) , courtesy lighting , Nav lighting , charging system , etc.
Power Plant/Drive- Engine hours , Engine oil condition , drive lube condition , belts , leaks , overall bilge condition(tells a lot) , prop condition , condition of the skeg(bottom of the drive) is it torn up , bent , etc.

Foremost: SERVICE RECORD (Is there any) and take her for a run.......you won't regret it!

The other members will tell you more , but thats the basics for me :)

Thanks Larry,
Yes, it does include a trailer. I apreciate all the above advice and I have owned boats for many years, just never a Mariah, but I know their reputation is great.
