i have recently purchased a 1994 Z240 7.4 and would like to install a captains call exhaust system and would like sum input on this before i tackle it for my first time ..recomendations ?......any input would be helpfull

Welcome to the board! This is discussed very often here on the forum. Lots of people are interested until they find out it will cost nearly $2k to have done professionally at a dealer, or they're intimidated by drilling the 4" Diameter hole through the hull at the waterline to mount the exhaust tips.

Up at the top of the page on the right is a search box, type in "exhaust", or "captain's call" or "thru hull exhaust" in there, and you'll find all sorts of discussions! :wink_thumbup:
