Now an owner of a Z-276
1 Attachment(s)
A couple months ago my wife and I purchased a 1997 Z-276 powered by a 454 hooked to a Bravo III with 280 hours on the hobbs in near flawless shape. Today for the first time we had a chance to put it in the water. Granted the puddle we put the boat in ( Paul B Jophnson) outside of Hattiesburg is far too small for her we had a great time... next stop, the Gulf Coast.

Nice looking boat thrasher.
When looking closer at the picture, it appears like the boat is not winched up against the bow stop roller, I hope this is only temporary and you are not towing it like that. This could have serious consequences if you ever need to make a sudden stop and the boat gains momentum before it hits the bow stop/winch stand. Just an observation because it didn't look right for a boat on a bunk trailer sitting on the hard :-) unless you are making adjustments to the the trailer. Enjoy the last few weeks of the season. |
Good catch! Had to comment because when I bought mine a few weeks ago the hook on the bow for the strap was on top of the stop. It was literally sitting on the stop. I didn't connect the dots till we went to load it the first time and saw the marks where it'd been sitting wrong. Thankfully I didn't have to brake hard or I'd had a boat sitting in the back of my SUV. How the previous owner ever got it loaded like that is beyond me.
