new 1997 jubilee 244 owner

My family recently purchased a nice 1997 jubilee 244 with the bravo 3 outdrive. When we went to pick it up, we could not get the trim to go up more than halfway. My understanding is that there is a trailering switch to throw to allow the trim to go up for trailering. Where is this switch located? The boat is still up on the lake and we are going back this weekend to get it. Please help . How do we get the trim all the way up?

If you have the Quick Silver single lever Throttle/Shifter assembly then the "Trailer" switch is located on the stalk. If you push and hold this switch it will bring the outdrive completely to the up position. Congrats on the new boat!

I sure do appreciate your help. I'll be going this weekend and I'm sure we will get it out this time. Thanks so much.

If that doesn't solve the problem (and it should) you can raise the outdrive by running a bypass/jumper wire from the positive terminal of the battery to the blue wire feeding into the trim motor. That should cause the outdrive to raise up until you remove the jumper wire.

Thanks a lot guys. I'll sure keep it all in mind while I'm picking it up. Any answers to my new post about the spacing of my trailer bunks?

Nah. You will likely have to wait til one of the similar size Jubilee owners read your post.
