Just became a Mariah Barchetta owner!
My wife and I are seniors, and we live in Indiana, in Syracuse, and have a lake cottage on Lake Wawasee - no, not the big water, just a channel facing Johnson Bay. We are new at the lake thing, and we are still learning the do's and dont's!
Having just purchased a 1995 Barchetta, I am at a loss for instruction manuals both for the boat and the engine. Right now, I am trying to locate a quick cover for the boat so that the rain - and birds - don't get the interior spoiled. I have a trailer cover, but the one I am looking for is to fit the studs around the edge of the boat. Not sure what it is called. Just got the boat in the water for my grandkids to enjoy - they came all the way from San Antonio, TX to stay at "Papa's pool" ! I look forward to exploring the Club's offerings and am excited about being a Mariah owner. Louis Piat |
Re: Just became a Mariah Barchetta owner!
Welcome aboard Louis. The owners manual for the boat is somewhat useless unless you are in need of general boating instruction. There are no model specific boat manuals that will help you learn how everything functions.
We do however have engine/outdrive/electrical/accessory manuals available to contributing members. If you wish to consider this, click here and all will be explained. Snap-on boat covers are pretty much custom made items for our Mariahs so you will likely have to find a local marine canvas shop & have one made or watch our Marketplace or eBay to see if anyone is selling theirs. Feel free to ask any specific questions about your boat. There is always someone around here that is willing to provide answers & help a new member out. |
