help me id my boat
 

I just bought a 77 mariah 21 ft daycrusier, with a 454 chevy and a drake jet unit on it but can't find any info on it ,,I read that mariah didn't even start making boats till 89 . did mariah have someone else build their boats or do I have a one off custom

If its a 1977 and its a Mariah then it's not one of ours because our Mariahs did not exist prior to 1990. There was a Supra Mariah boat out in the '70's thru the late '80's (i think) that might be what you have. I see them come up on eBay every once in a while but they are not related to our boats.

add: did a little online searching. Supra Boats are still made & here's a link to a 1990 Supra Mariah for sale in their forums.

I saw the picture of the supra mariah and that is not what I have .. the VIN of my boat is WMT501140277

I wasn't suggesting that the '90 Supra Mariah was just like your boat. I am advising you that you do not have a Mariah boat but that you do likely have a Supra boat.

The boat you have is made by Dandy Trading Company, out of Indianapolis IN. A quick search on the USCG Manufacturer Identification Code Database shows they started in 1975 and went out of business in 1996.

Dandy must have made a model called the "Mariah" as I've seen a few older jet boats bearing that name.

Musta been a 'dandy' of a boat..... :rolling_laugh:
