Hello Everyone, Future Owner here

Hello Everyone,
2 years ago I found this site and have been viewing as a guest since, 18 months ago I decided that a 99-01 Z212 Shabah is the boat for us and last week I registered as a Member.

Everything I have heard, read and speaking to "former" Mariah Owners has been very positive, except one: Parts, (well that's understandable) and this site has provided me with a wealth of information that has truly solidified my commitment to becoming a future Mariah Owner.

For the last 18 months, I have been relentless trying to find our future boat. While there are a few out there, because we live up near Seattle its been quite difficult to find one somewhat nearby in our region. During that time we have found 3 Z212's that have been quite appealing and each time we have been a day late. Its been frustrating to say the least.

So I officially became a member to try out this route, to find out if anyone has or knows of a Z212 that they are willing to part with or guide me to.

Black is my preferred color, and Indykoch's post a few weeks back is exactly what I am looking for, (Indy are you listening?)

Please let me know and again, glad I found this site and Good Job to the admins, administering this site.

Oh, and one last request: To all the Shabah Owners in the Seattle Area, I would love to get a close-up and personal introduction to the Shabah if anyone could oblige it would be greatly appreciated.:)

Thanks everyone and have a great weekend.

BrianVander,

I am in Shelton(just 1.5hrs south of Seattle) and would be more than happy to have you come check her out some time.

There was one up in Lynwood for sale for a long time as well as one over in Yakima(dark green and white), I will try and find them again if they are still for sale.

Good choice in boats, and you'll be very happy when you find the right one.

Zack

BRIAN,,,,

Here she is... 1994 Mariah 212 Shabah

After searching the CL, I found my exact mirror image of mine. This color combo was only made three times. I have one of three and heres another one within a couple hundred miles of me. This is a beautiful boat a little older than you wanted but in my book AWESOME.

If you don't like red or the age, heres a little newer one http://kpr.craigslist.org/boa/2986966548.html

Hi Zac,
Yes I remember the Red one in Lynnwood, I believe it was 95, I still have the Craigslist ad and I was all over it, I tried numerous times to contact the owner, who never returned my calls. I also recall the Green one in Yakima, but that one was over my budget its dropped out of site about a month or two ago, it was listed for quite some time.

I did see the 97 Green in Richland, (were OK with the green exterior graphics, my wife & I were not thrilled with the green interior, probably our least favorite color) and the 96 White in Dalles but my wife does not like the solid white exterior.

That's the first time I seen the Red 94 in Richland, (wonder why it didn't pop up) I will check into that one.

I've created links for Jaxed Mash, Craigslist Seattle, Spokane, Boise, Salt Lake, Phoenix, Las Vegas, So Cal, No Cal, & Portland, plus Boat Trader which I check about once a week. As I mentioned, if we are buying a boat to last us the next 10+ years or so, we want to make sure its what we like rather than settling. I really like the cockpit in the 99-01 and the 95-96 but a little so for the 97-98 (its that little bump n the top left).

I'm up in Everett, every once in awhile I have to get to Olympia, so maybe the next time I need to go down I will give you a call to see if I can meet up with you, thanks.

So we keep looking... and if anyone else see anything please feel free to pop me a message.

Thanks

BrianV
