1999 z212

Hello Eveyone, I am a new member to this site and also a new mariah owner. I bought a 1999 Mariah Z 212 With A 5.7 liter and Bravo 111 outdrive 1 week ago. I am taking it out this weekend to give it a try. I am so happy to own a boat like this. I have been looking at boats for about 3 years now and something kept bringing me back to the Mariah. This site also helped me make this choice. Want to thank all for the good posts and those who do not own a Mariah dont know what there missing. I will posts pics soon.

Welcome aboard Jim. That Z212 is a very nice (& popular) boat around here.

Thanks Everyone, Had it out this weekend for the first time and was very pleased. The shock on one side is weak on the engine cover,so i tried a 120# shock and it was way to stiff. The local auto parts store ordered in a 60# and a 90#. I hope one of these works. Other than that ran awsome. Thanks for replying!!:)

Mine had a semi wore out 90 pound on it along with the electric lift. It never raised evenly, we always had to help the side with the shock. I ended up disconnecting the electric lift and putting 2 new 90 pound shocks on it.
