Proud New Owner of a 1990 Mariah 1850 XL
Hello forum! I am certainly glad to be not only a new Mariah boat owner, but a forum member as well. If anyone has any tips, hints or suggestion about the boat please do share. For now my question is does anyone know where to get the little plastic lockers for the switches on the captains panel to help with keeping them in place and not pushing back into the panel? Mine is missing 4 or 5. Otherwise everything else checks out so far.
Thanks |

Welcome aboard! Can you post a close up pic or two of your switch console? I'm not too familiar with the look of the original model year for Mariah.

Thanks Mikey and once the rain lets up I will pull the cover and snap a picture. It essentially is a this plastic nut that threads over the switch itself holding it snug against the dash. For now I have found another member with the same boat. If you zoom in on the image it looks like he is missing a few as well. http://www.mariahownersclub.com/gall...php?n=3507&w=l

I used to be able to pick up those types of things at places like Radio Shack / The Source. That might be a good place to start looking. Even if you have to buy a cheap switch that has the retainer nut that will fit your switch it will be a plus.

If RS no longer has them, you can pick them up at online electronic distributors like Digikey or Mouser...540400A56 C&K Components Switch Hardware
