New Mariah owner
I actually have a couple of questions. We have a 1990 Mariah Runabout 190 Ski/Bass I/O. It has a 305 with only 82hrs. We swithched from a 3 blade to a 4 blade prop and now also considering a hydrafin. The reason is, when pulling up a skier the bow stays high. Has anyone else tried this remedy?
Also, have nice built in bimini but it is too small would like it to be longer and also don't like the way it attaches to the windsheild. Are we stuck with this bimini issue or are the options? Appreciate any help. |
Re: New Mariah owner
Do a site search here for "Smart Tabs". They are far superior to those dammed hydrofins, cost less than $150 & you can install them yourself in about 45 mins. No one should be allowed to install a hydrofin on a Mariah! ;)
Here's a link to the website for Smart Tabs which should answer any question you have. Other than having a custom made bimini & frame work, you are likely stuck with what you have. |

Much appreciated.

Re: New Mariah owner
I have bought Bimini's from ANP in Canada. Lowest price I've found and good quality. I also just purchased my smart tabs from west marine. I searched and used an online $10 coupon and got free shipping (cost me $114).

Re: New Mariah owner
Just curious about your boat. Are you sure its a 1990? When i checked the brochures they dont show your model in 1990 but do show one (standard and a "z" model) in 1991. Last 2 digits of your hull ID gives you the model year.
btw... if you want a little more info regarding your boat, send a private message to ShabahZ250 with your Hull ID# and ask him to run it. We have the build sheets up to 1995 for reference. Regarding your bimini, I forgot about iboats.com. You might want to check this link out because they list your 1900Z |
