Another New Mariah Owner

Hello all ,
Just bought me a Diablo yesterday. Been looking to get a Mariah since I saw one 15yrs ago:wink_thumbup: Going to go pick it up the 11th in Illinois. Long way from Colorado but I got a great deal I hope.
Guy says its a 1996 Diablo , but I can't find anything on a 95-2000. Only up to 94 model years. Anyone know if they made the Diablo in 96?
I am unable to get the HIN right now to verify year.
Sure am glad I found you guys!!
Larry

Welcome aboard! No Diablo's in 1995 or 1996. The last 2 digits of the Hull ID will verify the model year. Have the vendor send you a couple of photos and verify the Hull ID#,

Check out this post for how to read a Hull ID#

Thanks for the warm welcome Mikey!
Yeah , I know how to read the HIN , its just that the seller is not by the boat til the 8th. I'll get the number then. I gotta a sneaking suspension it is a 93 or maybe 94. Either way doesn't really matter to me , I'm just tickled that I finally got me a Mariah after 3 other boats!:D
Thanks again ,
Larry

Congrats on the purchase!
How many miles will your trip end up being next week?
What were your other boats and where do you boat in Colo?

It's gonna wind up at about 2200 miles when all done. (If all goes half well)
First boat was a 1979 Hammond 20' OB w/235HP Evinrude (1996-2001)
Then came a 1987 VIP Vision 17' w/4.3L Cobra IO (2002-2009)
Last but not least was a 1990 Sport Craft 21' w/4.3L VP I/O (2011-2011)
I bought the Sport Craft Labor Day Weekend , put it in the lake for two days , was on the way home and a guy T-boned it at about 45mph. Needless to say it was totaled.
But hey, that's why I got my new Mariah so it wasn't all that bad.:wink_thumbup:

I usually hit Blue Mesa Res which is near Gunnison Colorado , Crawford Res which is near Crawford Colorado , Twin Lakes Res which is close to Leadville Colorado (about 9000ft) , and on occassion Pueblo Res by Pueblo Colorado.
I like Navajo Res down by Durango too!
