Almost owner of a 1998 214 Jubilee

Just joining the club here. I'm about to close on a 1998 214 Jubilee buying from another member here (Chris).

I have to say I've been looking for the right boat for about 15 months on and off and this model is just perfect for me and my family. So much space for a 21 footer and Chris kept it in great condition (continued what the previous owner had done). Only 77 hours on the engine....and its in great condition...she looks only a couple years old. The 350 Magnum, carbureted, with the Bravo III is impressive and fast. Cant wait to close the deal and sneak out onto the lake near me.

Glad to have a forum on Mariahs....can't wait to spend countless hours reading up on the do's and dont's. Thanks in advance for having the site and giving this newbie advice! :wink_thumbup:

Cheers,

Kevin

Welcome aboard Kevin! You do realize (i hope) that if you buy a boat from another member of our site that you have to invite everyone down to your place and ply them with mucho beer for the weekend?

Welcome aboard. I agree the Jubilee has such a great layout, it's hard to beat. Congrats on the boat!

If you will come down and help me move today and tomorrow and help lay some tile or woodfloors or electrical work on my in progress house you got a deal!

I'm looking forward to FINALLY have a boat and a Mariah at that. I've watched them from the sidelines and really thought they were nicely laid out and built boats. This happened quicker than i was planning to buy a boat but Chris put out a nice deal for me to take the plunge in (and convice the wife it was ok to do at that).

Any other Mariah owners in the Raleigh NC area?

Kevin

I'll send Dredd down since he didn't pick up on my comments when he posted his. :)

Have a look at our Member Map to see who else is in your area. While you are there, take a couple of minutes to pin yourself too!
