New Red Mariah 202 owner in Holland

Hello all,

Just sold my Bayliner 1850 and now own a full red Mariah 202 bowrider, year 2000 with a 5.0L V8 mecruiser. Are there more of this same model in the Netherlands? Please let me know:)

Still busy with some projects on the boat. Adding an extended swimplatform, replace sony with JL audio speakers and adding new carpet. Also having three broken parts: RPM meter, speed meter doens't work and safety/dead switch is broken. So i'm looking for manuals and electrical schedules. I'm Silver member but still no license to see the manuals. Can anyone help me. thx already.

Michel, Haarlem, the Netherlands

Welcome aboard Michel! We do seem to be getting more & more new members from the 'low countries'. When you have a moment please take the time to check out our Member Map and pin your location?

The access to the manuals section etc may take 24 hrs but if you are still having a problem tomorrow, please feel free send a Private Message to our admins (Shabahz250 or Mariahman) and they will help you out.

The tachometer is usually a simple fix as is the speedometer. There is a small dial on the back of the tachometer (for cylinder settings). Give it a few spins then re-set it on 8 cyl. Also check the connections for a bit of corrosion. As for the speedo, there is a small pickup hole in the front of your outdrive that tends to get blocked. I would suggest removing the plastic line to the speedo and using a small compressor, blow air backwards thru it to clean out the blockage.

Thnx Mikey for your reply and ideas. If it doesn't rain a day, i'm going to inspect that.

I've added some pictures above. Does anyone know some details about this boat. I have no documents at all.

Weight ?
Original Price in 2000?
max. speed same model and motor specs, anyone? (my max. is 79 km/49 m/h GPRS, full trimmed, 3 persons in the boat)

Regards,

michel

Weight shows as 1350kgs, 189L fuel tank & max speed as "50-57mph (81-92kph)" with the 5.7 in the 2000 brochure. The brochure doesn't mention the 5.0L so it would seem that your performance figures are likely spot on. There are a number of members here with that particular model so hopefully they will chime in with more info.
