2001 ShabahZ210 Boat Cover
 

I seek a replacement cover for my 21' 2001 ShabahZ boat. Looking at the covers that are available from 3rd party manufacturers leaves me uncertain which of the listed covers will work best. The S/N of my boat is Mabxxxxxxxxx. The current Mariah manufacturer cannot give me any clarification from the S/N that would make it clearer how to spec the boat cover. Can anyone suggest a good source for a boat cover that can match the S/N to the particular boat cover needed?

No third party manufacturer will be able to match the hull ID number for a cover. Hull ID number information is proprietary to the original manufacturer. Since yours is a 2001, and the original Mariah Boats Inc went out of business in May 2001, the new Mariah (Sea Fox) won't have any of that info. The cover manufacturers won't have any information either. The designs they have are loosely based off the hull designs and specifications, hence the reason they are called "universal" or "semi-custom fit".

The only way to get a custom fit cover that will fit perfectly is to have a local canvas shop make you one. They will either request you bring the boat to them, or will send someone out to get all the proper measurements. This will be your best bet. All the other covers won't fit anywhere near as good as a custom one. Sure it'll cost a bit more, but the fit will be perfect, it'll look great, and will probably last a lot longer...

Oh, and BTW, the hull ID number you supplied is for a 1992 Shabah Z212. :)
